Which pistol would you choose?

p08Which pistol would you choose?
The 19-3 is a good gun and as said the better of the two for shooting. That said I steady diet of full power magnum loads is kinda hard on a K frame long term.

I think the 19 is the winner, hard to beat a 2-3inch, 6 shot, .357 as an all around handgun.
I have the same thoughts ... and also would go with the model 19.

motor59I'd go for the Colt as well.
I had a 2 1/2" Smith & Wesson and didn't care for it; traded it in on a 3" version.

selogicTough call . I guess 1-2-3 top to bottom .

ggileCan't go wrong with either the 19 or the Trooper, but since I have a fondness for the S&W 19 I'd choose it.

egregoreI wish I had this dilemma.

If it were my choice, I'd take the Colt. The 2½" M19 looks cool, but I couldn't hit the broad side of a barn with either the M19 or M66 I had, and the short ejector rod makes ejecting cases problematic.

m1009Probably take the Colt. If it’s a Trooper, those are really, really nice revolvers. The 19 is nice too however. But we love our Troopers.

Yes, I have thanked him profusely!
I’m going back and forth between the Colt and the model 19.
I have my Dad’s 66-2 already and I don’t have any 2 1/2” revolvers.

low8optionI have both and would have a hard time picking between them but I'm fond of Colt so think I would lean that way. Regardless you won't go wrong with either one.
