Exactly. What part of these sensible gun laws could he possibly find objectionable? Placing the burden of disproving a self-defense claim on the prosecution? Simplifying the law?
Ever since he was passed over and the voters went for Trump in 2016 he has consistently gone against most everything a typical Republican voter would want as if to say screw you for choosing that guy.
He can’t leave office past enough.

Anyone care to explain this a little more or point me to a good link for more info?
Here's the link to
Ohio HB-228 in its marked up format. Go to page 26...basically, if you own property and don't want folks bringing in their guns, then you have to post a sign. I'm not sure how this differs from previous language because that has been a rule for a long time.

I actually used to not dislike and somewhat respect Kasich. Then he pulled the stunt during the election when he refused to pull out even when there was NO CHANCE of him winning simply because of his disdain for The Donald. Not to mention some of the off-the-wall positions that he took
during the election presumably to try to gain an edge which showed that he would compromise his principles just to win an election.
Both of which spoke volumes of his character.
He's a slimeball.
