Lots going on in the Macarena video for me. The mother with the young child down in front of the blue truck stands out.
None of these officers would ever get their handcuffs on a violent criminal. The criminal wouldn't respect and fear them.
There was a time when such public displays were strictly prohibited by departmental policy. Also, professional officers in uniform wouldn't dare act this way in public. I would even limit my wife's public goodbye kisses after we'd had dinner when I was in uniform.
Fingers should also be pointed directly at their police administration for allowing and encouraging this. How far can this go before it's considered too far? Is there even a limit? The dog fetish pic tells me, "No."
I can't help but wonder, are these officers on-duty or off-duty special assignment? If they're on-duty, who's taking the calls for service around the city?

I don't want to say too much because it's just downright embarrassing! However, there's enough of that bullshit going on here too... CPD unfortunately has one or two rainbow painted squad cars. I don't know how much $ was spent on an "it" bathroom at the academy. (Yes, there's a fucking "it" that wears the same uniform) pro-terrorist protest last weekend shut down Lake Shore Dr for a while. NYPD seems to have the same problems, as do a few other large departments.

Way beyond cringe-worthy. But when you have "mental health professionals" normalizing virtually every deviation from "NORMAL" as possible, this is what results. Worse than the public display of "acceptable" behaviors like this is the fact that these officers and others were probably evaluated as applicants using the same (new) standards. Think about that for a moment and ask yourself what you'd be getting for a first responder if you'd need police assistance in a variety of situations. Like I said: BEYOND CRINGE-WORTHY
