Nothing on the radar. The next 4 years should be great for buyers though while frustrating for sellers and if I see a good deal on a nice used or new Italian made Beretta 92F I might finally buy one.

The local Range USA has the Henry 22 lever action on sale for $330 and tempts me too.

If Illinois AWB is ever overturned, that will give me more options too.

Ordered a HK MR556A4 pistol on Christmas Eve, so there’s that. After that, I don’t know. Nothing else out there right now that I want. Maybe something interesting will come out in ‘25.

I had the chance to shoot a couple of Echelon's that belong to a friend (one with a dot, one without) both of them shot very good. I liked the gun; but have no need for a duty size pistol anymore. Only interested in Glock 19 size pistols at this point in time, and the new Echelon 4.0C fits that bill.

Time will tell if I go the red dot way, I'm very happy with my current WCV Gen 5 19s, but who knows what the future might hold.

A 1994 Browning BLR in .270 Win?? A buddy needs hay for the winter and rather than cash wants to trade me this rifle for some hay rolls. Nice rifle that's been used but not abused, and appears to have been riding in a scabbard based on the barrel and barrel band wear marks. Something like this wasn't even on my radar!

Not sure if this counts because I've already bought it, but it hasn't made it to my dealer yet. I picked up a really ugly S&W Model 36 off of center-fire systems this week as a restoration project.

Honestly, there's not much that I want or need anymore. I still go to shops pretty regularly, but typically leave feeling like I wouldn't trade anything that I currently own for anything they've got. I did score a Marlin 39A Mountie earlier this month, which is something I've been looking for for years.

As to stuff I might grab if I saw it...

I haven't gotten a chance to handle the Ruger RXM yet. If it's as good as I'm hearing, and they make one in a G26 or G48/43X size, I may end up with one of those. I'm very intrigued on paper...we'll have to see if the theory lives up to the hype.

I still don't have a 10mm, but still haven't settled on what exactly I want.

My son is wanting to do an AR build, and I thought if he did that I might pick up a lower, too, so we could build them together. But he's currently looking at buying a truck that needs a bunch of work, so the AR thing is probably going to have to wait. I don't really need another one anyway.

A Ruger SFAR 20" in .308 has my eye. Don't really need it, but don't have anything in the collection currently that fills that niche.

If Lipseys or somebody were to talk S&W into a 4" J-Frame airweight in .357 with adjustable sights, they'd get my money.

The grandson shot a .22LR rifle at Scout camp and seems to have caught the bug. A .22 left hand bolt rifle would seem to be in our future.

Earlier this year I finally picked up a 43X-MOS, which is a great carry pistol I’ve wanted for a while.

Next I picked up the Springfield SA35, which I lusted for since I saw the first teaser ads.

The most recent purchase was the S&W Bodyguard 2.0 which is another great design.

So right now I’m not looking at any new purchases.
But, my wife and sons always give me money for Christmas to use towards either a new firearm or watch.

This year I may go a different route and send that SA35 off for a little custom work to MK3 Firearms. I like their work and am thinking about having new sights installed, a mild beavertail upgrade, and one of their crisp short reset trigger jobs, topped off with a rich black refinish.

Or, if a mint Omega 2254 comes up first that may throw a monkey wrench into the above plan Smile

Well, since I work in a gun shop…..

Actually not a purchase but at the company Christmas party we drew for gifts from the store owners. I got a chronograph. One of my managers looked at it, he drew and got a P365 Fuse.

He had been eying that Chronograph for awhile, I have been looking at the Fuse since it came out. So, he now has a Chronograph and I have a Fuse to keep my Tac Ops company.

I have no needs for a new firearm and will continue to invest in ammo and training. There are 2 potential handguns on my radar that could potentially land in my hands. I’m likely to either grab an HK CC9 or an Sig P365 AXG Legion dependent on price and availability. The alternative would be to build one of the AR lowers and uppers that are hanging around my safe.

I'm still wanting several. A PCC, a revolver and a lever gun in .357, a Ruger 10/22, a Beretta 92 of some flavor, a Glock 44....and I'll probably find others too.

In addition to what I said on page 2, probably a few more suppressors and get into night vision/thermals.

I never know what I'm gonna get next; I just walk into my favorite LGS and see if something strikes my fancy. If so, it goes on layaway while I pay it off.

Most recent purchase was a Rossi RM-64 .357 revolver. I wasn't looking for anything like it specifically but noticed the store had them on sale for a very good price, and had a 4" stainless in stock, so I jumped on it! Fit and finish are both fantastic and I'm anxious to try it out if I ever get to the range!

Possibly some kind of PCC. I have said earlier that my defense needs are already covered with handguns, an AR and a shotgun, but am starting to reconsider. It possible that I might find something that strikes my fancy, too.
