What will be your next firearm purchase?
Just placed my order before going to Sigforum. I ordered a Ruger 10/22 60th Anniversary edition.

My next one in 2025, I'm hoping Sig comes out with a Legion version for the 365 Fuse.

"It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." Gotta few I’ve been thinking about: Browning Superposed, Browning Hi Power, Ruger 44 Carbine and a Smith & Wesson Model 27 3.5”.

Considering making some room in the safe to finance a custom bolt action setup for mid to long range and a suppressor. May skeletonize a Tikka I already own.

2024 is the first year since 1985, that I have not bought a firearm.
Really nothing that I need or even want at this time. However, if down the road I decide to go with a red dot sight, I will be looking at picking up a couple of pistols. (Always need a spare for my EDC).

Top three contenders right now are a Shadow System MR920, a Springfield Echelon 4.0C, or the Ruger RXM. Today, was range day for us and the range had the Springfield and Ruger for sale. I handled both of them, and did not care for the RXMs grip - after the Glock Gen 4 came out, all of my Gen 3 19s were sold/traded. FOR ME, the smaller grip option on the Gen 4 and later Gen 5 19s is just that much better. So unless a grip reduction gets done on the RXM, it will probably not be the one that gets picked.

Really liked the grip on the Echelon 4.0C though. (I have already owned a few Shadow Systems MR918 and an MR920).

Pretty content with my WCV Gen 5 Glock 19s at this time.

I am considering a Grail Gun. A too-expensive over-accurate .22 LR target rifle, Anshutz or the like

Get another G17 and a 365. Would like to do some customizing to the 17 to make it more carryable and learning to use a RDS.

A P7Pro P7M8, hopefully in just a couple days.

I would very much like a three turret scoped bolt action rifle.
In .243 Win.

Primary use would be for taking out 1 liter bottles at 125 feet,
2 liter bottles @ 65-100 yds.

1 gallon jugs @ 135 yds.
5 gallon buckets @ 175 yds.
And 30 gal. Drums at 200 yds.

Safety, Situational Awareness and proficiency.

I hadn't bought another gun for several months, but a couple came up I couldn't pass on. One is a mid-70's Detective Special, excellent condition, no box or docs. The other is one a friend let me shoot-a Ruger SP 101 Champion Match. Both just feel good in my hand. And, I've got a case of 38 headed my way.

Lever action in .357 mag, I just can’t stomach $1000 for a Marlin.

Orive 8, I would advise you to pass on the Echelon, unless you aren’t concerned with accuracy. Seems like a nice gun but the one I had was a terrible shooter.

That is kinda dependent on what pops up in the used case but I would love to find a gently used Dan Wesson razorback!!! The only thing I have an interest in for new is maybe a B&T subgun!!!

I haven't purchased anything for a long time but 3Q of 2024 was fun. Picked up a gently used DW 10mm CBOB from a soild member here. Then a Tikka T3X Roughtech in 270 win (rebate eligible) to go with an AGM thermal for pig whacking. Then today I had no intentions of buying anything until an email from Grabagun came through. Picked up a HK VP9sk on a hell of a deal and also a FN 510 MRD with a Holosun through their quote system (also has a rebate).

Likely a P365 XMacro. Been wanting one just been putting it off.
I ordered an R Grizzle holster awhile ago for one so I’ll get around to it eventually.

If money weren’t a deciding factor I sure would like a blue Python.

I'd really like an MP5-A2 clone of some sort. But trying to figure out what to get and how to handle it in MA makes my head spin.
