Well, as far as new guns go I'm considering:

Ruger RXM. I don't own any 9mm Glocks but have about 30 mags (17 and 19 sized). Regular Glocks just don't do it for me and I had a Shadow Systems but never got into it so I will probably give the new Ruger a try.

Rossi R92 357mag lever gun with 16" barrel in stainless. Seems all my local shops don't have this combo or if they do it sells quick. I just think it would be a handy little lever gun to have around.

Nothing. All my bases are well covered, there's been nothing new that has caught my eye in several years, and now that milsurps are no longer cheap and plentiful I don't see myself buying any more of those either.

That may change if something different debuts this year. For example, like 2Adefender, I might consider a .308 Jakl, depending on price and weight.

I had been in the "nothing" crowd, until RXM came out. I, too, had no 9mm Glocks, but a number of Glock 9mm mags. I'm ecstatic with the construction of the RXM.

I definitely want to add a new Python to the stable. I also want to add a P320 like my current duty gun. I am also thinking really strongly about ordering a BAT Machine receiver for an eventual new precision rifle build, to be assembled over time. My gun club now has a 600 yard range so I definitely want to focus more on precision shooting.

One rifle (7mm Weatherby Mark V Deluxe) and one pistol (Beretta 71).

I can live without both, but if either flies across my radar at a reasonable price, well....

Like most here, I've got everything else that I want/need...and then some.

I'm saving for a I have no idea. Depends on what shows up in the used case. No interest in anything new. A Wilson 1911 in .45acp would get my attention, as would a 3 inch 686-4 or 65-5.

I have everything I can use, I have a couple more to get rid of. But, I just bought a used Knight LRH rifle in 50 cal. The price was right and I plan on possibly deer hunting with it in 2026 and taking some feral hogs with it.

There is not much out there that I fancy, I have a good variety of firearms right now. I do not see anything new that I would like, but with firarm prices low, I have to keep telling myself that I do not need anything else. It’s hard to turn down firearms on clearance and I am seeing a lot this year.

I might swap my nose-heavy 24" 1873 for a 20 incher, and my S&W Victory .22 for a Ruger. Otherwise I actually need to start thinning the herd some. Lot of things in the safe that I just don't shoot anymore, and I took possession of all my Dad's guns earlier this year and don't see myself shooting most of them either.

Like others, I'm not contemplating ANY firearms purchases, and I've been giving a few away to daughter/grandsons.

Daughter got my Walther PP, older grandson got my S&W 66, younger grandson got my P220.

That trend will likely continue as I get older, and I'm having a little buyer's remorse over the Kimber Elite I bought on impulse. It's a nice medium-grade 1911, but not really suitable for carry and for one reason or another I don't get out just to turn perfectly good ammo into smoke and noise much any more.




Be careful when following the masses. Sometimes the M is silent.
