$150m lost from 400+ stores ...honestly I was expecting it to be more, however DSG was never known for moderate let alone premium price-point firearms. | |||

It’s not just the firearms. Their anti-freedom stance on firearms will cost them in all of their core businesses. I predict Field and Stream will eventually close, and the Golf Galaxy stores will ultimately fold into Dick’s stores. I go out of my way to not support any part of Dick’s. CEO’s of publicly traded companies should not be allowed by the Board of Directors to politicize a company. They get those positions, and keep them, because they are supported by the board members. Those board members control enough stock (votes) to assure themselves a continued VERY LUCRATIVE existence, with no responsibility to anyone but themselves. I saw the same thing happen at IBM when the board paid Akers more than $2million bonus for his stellar performance as CEO. IBM had never paid bonuses to CEOs before that. And that $2.4mega bucks was paid for losing the company a huge amount, first time in company history.
