Have lost 4 of these [plastic] to wind, all plastic versions. First one was mounted on the wood veneer on our front porch, prior owners. The last 3 are mounted in the brick between our garage doors. Anyone have a cost effective, metal option, preferably with a 'keeper' screw to tension onto the flagpole. The Enemy's gate is down.

I got a special one because I needed a 2", 8' long pole to hold a bigger flag. Don't remember the brand. It is doing well, though. Probably not what you're looking for, but if it is, I'll try to discover what it is. flashguy Texan by choice, not accident of birth

IMine is very similar to this one. I think it will wear out or rust away in about 200 years. https://www.usaflagco.com/prod...on-flag-pole-bracket --Tom The right of self preservation, in turn, was understood as the right to defend oneself against attacks by lawless individuals, or, if absolutely necessary, to resist and throw off a tyrannical government.
