What's wrong with this picture?

The following quote is taken from an email that I received today, sent by SIG Sauer.
quote:
1,000,000,000th P365

In 2020 the one millionth P365 was born
It kind of reminds me of the True(?) Story of the two blond coeds who went to Rio for spring break. While sharing breakfast, one of them said to the other, "I had sex with two Brazilian guys last night."

"Wow," said the other blond. "Uh, how many zeros in a Brazilian?"

I remember when a million was a big number...
Now, *pffft* let me know when you get to a trillion. Razz

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."

When I got the email, my first thought was the line from the movie Lord of War:

“There are over 550 million firearms in worldwide circulation. That's one firearm for every twelve people on the planet. The only question is: How do we arm the other eleven?”

“Dayam! A billion P365s! That makes the total one for every four people on the planet. We’re getting there.”

Just checking to see if anyone noticed I hadn't checked. Razz

Besides, where do we get those population figures?
From governments, and we know how untrustworthy they are. Has anyone actually gone from door to door to count? And would the people answer correctly anyway? Based on the discussions right here on this forum we know the answer to that; knowing how many people live in a house could compromise our precious bodily fluids. And don’t forget the machinations of the Russians, Chinese, and FBI. You just think it’s not one in four, you poor, deluded, brainwashed puppet, you!!!

That's a political comment in a non-political thread, but it's my thread, so I reserve the right to make the judgement call.

The Glock 43 was introduced in Apr 2015. In May 2018, Glock produced its one millionth G43.

The P365 was introduced in Jan 2018, so both reached one million units right around the three year mark. I think that's pretty impressive for SIG, considering the P365 has had a lot more competition during its three years than the G43 had in its first three years.
