That's right... insurers discover that the animal that damaged luxury cars was actually a person in a bear suit. https://www.clickondetroit.com...person-in-a-costume/ LOS ANGELES – California has seen its share of bears breaking into cars. But bears caught on camera entering luxury cars tipped off insurers that something wasn't quite right. In what's dubbed “Operation Bear Claw,” the California Insurance Department said four Los Angeles residents were arrested Wednesday, accused of defrauding three insurance companies out of nearly $142,000 by claiming a bear had caused damage to their vehicles. Saw this on Fox News on Thursday. Gillian Turner said it was tough to read the story with a straight face! -------------------------- Every normal man must be tempted, at times, to spit on his hands, hoist the black flag, and begin slitting throats. -- H L Mencken I always prefer reality when I can figure out what it is. -- JALLEN 10/18/18

Wait, what? |
Here’s a Fox news report that contains a video of the “bear” inside the car as well as the damage “it” caused. The scratches in the interior are laughably fake; how these idiots thought they were convincing was ridiculously absurd. Bear claws are not perfectly spaced apart and I suspect a biologist was able to quickly determine that any hair left behind was anything but natural. https://www.foxnews.com/video/6364715983112 “Remember to get vaccinated or a vaccinated person might get sick from a virus they got vaccinated against because you’re not vaccinated.” - author unknown
