Good morning fellow Sig Forum members. If you're reading this at the unholy hour of the morning that I am posting it, then you have my sympathies and respect. The inside dog is still asleep, the two inside cats are still asleep, she who must be obeyed is still asleep.

I suspect that the outside dogs, cat, cows, chickens, and goats are still asleep.

I, a former victim of the got to get up to beat it in to work daily commute, however, am not.

Retired for years now and having escaped that hellhole and yet I still get up in time to beat the traffic and HOV restrictions to get into the office in time to consolidate and prepare the morning brief for my boss in time for his early arrival at 7 to prepare for his 8 AM meeting.

I suspect that Pavlov's dogs had nothing on anyone having done two HQ tours.

So, being awake I peruse our beloved Forum for both the wealth of knowledge and experience of our fellow members as well as new cat pictures.

I seem to be addicted to the cat pictures.

Thanks to all for your efforts and for sharing your insight, knowledge, opinions and experiences and for giving me a great place to hang out in the early AM.

Good morning! I've been up since 2 am. myself. Made my way here after drinking a few coffees and checking out a couple Youtube vids.

What is it about 2am that make dogs think they need to go out. She's comfortably curled up next to wife soundly asleep but me not so lucky. So, unfortunately I am another member of the club. Fortunately, I'm retired too so when sleep comes I'll be able to enjoy it.

Good morning fellow members of the Dawn Patrol. I was actually up about 2AM but had to make coffee and look at the cat pictures before I was capable of typing anything.

I’m up most days at 4:00

But I go to bed at 7:30pm.

I enjoy my morning quiet time.

I went to bed really early . About 7 pm . Woke up at 11:45 with an upset stomach . Dozed off , awake again at 12:50 . Got up , made some coffee and turned on Highway Thru Hell . It's now near 4 am and I'm wishing I could go back to sleep .

Good morning all! normal wake up for me is about 3:30 am. In her later years my dear little Jack Russel Terror, Bella needed to go out and do her business @ this time. She has been gone now for about 2 years, but still get up every morning to check on her and make the morning coffee! Then to the SIGforum to see what is going on with the rest of the old curmudgeons that are up at this time of day! Take care and enjoy today!

I’m here. Need to be up at 7 for work so as usual I’ll lay here wide awake until 6:30 and then fall asleep right before my alarm goes off.

Good morning. Been up for about a half hour now. Only a couple of days left in deer season so I will be going out at sunrise.

This is pretty much my morning wake up time, hunting or no. And yeah, it's also my quiet time
which I dearly enjoy.

Woke up at 3 am. Would have loved to have slept until 5:00. Anyways, here I am. Heating pad on my back and about to make a second cup of coffee.

We must be Brothers from another Mother! Just add 30 minutes to both times.

My wife, OTOH, is up until 2:00AM most nights so I get 4+ hours of peace and quiet in the morning.

I generally wake up to bleed the lizard around midnight. Get back in bed and check the forum for anything new, then with any luck can go back to sleep in an hour or so.

I've heard of draining the lizard, but bleeding the lizard sounds like some painful tribal ritual... Big Grin

Always up at 0100 or so. Nice time to take a walk, check in with some HAM buddies and enjoy peace and quiet. 6 hours sleep is plenty at my age.
