So, you’re saying insurance goes up dependent on your neighbors and their accidents? That seems wrong. However, I live in a very rural area, and the times I travel on the interstate roads at 75, in heavy traffic, I wonder why there isn’t more accidents.
Also includes car theft and burglaries in your zip code. My zip code in Dallas included a swamp near I-30 and Ferguson, not to mention all the work trucks, trailers and tools stolen in my immediate neighborhood.

birddog1Progressive, my auto insurance jumped up $58/mo. 3 cars, full coverage on all. Higher than it should be because of an accident my son had a couple of years ago. No accidents or tickets since. I called Progressive and the BS they tried to feed me was “cost of repairs, parts, work” etc.
I called Geico and cansave $140 mo.

doublesharpOne good thing about being old and driving old cars. My 2011 Durango hemi, 2011 Toyota Avalon and 2015 Sienna AWD all run about $200 ea per 6 months for same coverage.

Blackhorse48% auto, 10% homes(2) and 1MM umbrella liability. At 81, with a 2011 Ridgeline, and a 2017 Odyessy, I’m told my age is a factor. No claims in last 8 years. (We are rural)
All goes out for bid in the next month.
Regards to all.
