I thought of the Stark when the Russian Cruiser Moskva was recently attacked and sunk. The attacks were VERY similar (two medium weight anti-ship missile hits.) Our much smaller and lighter frigate was able to return to port, was repaired, and put back into service. The much larger Russian cruiser sank. I think that says something about the relative quality of the design and construction of the ships, and the skill of the crews.
