My early years were spent in a town with a VA hospital, "The old soldiers home". Well anyway several of those old fellas had what grandma called shell shock.

I guess that was my first exposure to crazy. I was raised to have great respect for those old men. I'll admit though they spooked the hell out of me talking and shouting to the wind.
