I saw the sweetest family while out driving today. Mom and dad and three little kids all smiling and waving. I couldn’t resist them, so I had my driver lower his window and wave back. Nice moment. - Pat Sajak

Most people are unable to appreciate dry humor. I've seen the responses to his tweet.

I do dry humor too and people are unsure whether I'm joking or not as I deliver it dead pan.

"It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." Viktor Frankl, Man's Search for Meaning, 1946.

Pat Sajak is a gem.
When I was in 7th grade?? My younger sister (who's 11+ years younger than me) started talking a bunch.
She spent a lot of time in front of the TV (both of our parents worked full time), and after learning Mommy & Daddy, she learned how to say Pat Sajak. He was the weekend//back-up weatherman at the old WSM Channel 4 TV station. Even then he was pretty funny. My sister wil be 50 the next time March rolls around. Eek

Sajak no longer performs the final spin.

"The reason is, honestly, I've never liked the idea of imposing the host on the game. That always bothered me a little bit. We finally got to talking. We said, ‘Look, someone’s spinning the wheel anyway. We'll save time. We'll just let them spin it, whoever turn it happens to be. So the final spin, at least as far as the host is concerned, is gone, but the final spin remains. I'm just not doing it."
