Some time back, at least a year, we had a forum member from Washington (I think) who was in a motel in Texas. Seeking medical help for diabetes and suffering from alcoholism among other things. Can’t remember his name, nor do I recall much if any of him since.

Recall Signified had been in direct contact with him.

A. Anyone remember his name?
B. Do we know how he’s doing?

You're thinking of the thread by "rh" from 2018. They had another episode in 2022 as well, with a similarly incoherent thread created.

I remember the more recent version. Hope it came out OK.
