IMPD2079What guns do you plan to buy this year?
I want the new H&K CC9. They spent 8 yrs making this gun. 750,000 rounds shot making it. I have watched so many videos on this gun. The problem is you can't find them anywhere. I am on about 10 lists from various places to be notified when more come in.

YellowJacketI am thinking about picking some kind of cheap 20 ga shotgun to get my kids started shooting shotguns. My oldest is 10 and is skinny. I need something that I don't mind hacking down a butt stock and maybe cutting off a barrel. Seems like all the cheap guns are gone.

fischtown7The only thing on my list was a .357 magnum since I have not had one in years. Well a .450 Bushmaster upper caught my fancy earlier and then today while at my favorite LGS, "Hey you might be interested in this" and out from the back comes a not yet put out for sale 1979 Ruger 4" Security Six Stainless ex-Puerto Rico Police gun. Overall cosmetically I would say not bad and mechanically very nice. And best of all $299. Could not say MINE! fast enough, will be posting as soon as I bring home.

As a former skinny kid (5 foot 6 and 110 pounds when I graduated HS) I would have loved something like a Mossberg 500 Bantam Youth in 20 gauge. Looks like most are in the $400-500 range. They even have some models with adjustable LOP's. I have never handled one so I don't know how they swing or point but Mossbergs have a reputation of being a solid gun at a decent price point. I know $500 isn't exactly cheap, but what is in today's market?
Good Luck!
As for me, I am thinking about replacing my home defense Benelli SuperNova with one of the autoloading Beretta's, probably the A300 Ultima Patrol.

I have one! It's a neat gun, for sure, and it was low-$400-ish when I got it. Adjustable LOP is a great thing!

tacfoleyI'm looking at pushing out the boat for a genuine two-band Pritchett Volunteer rifle to the Pattern of 1858 to match my original Pritchett model of 1851.
As some here know, we can freely buy genuine antiques like this one provided we are over 18 - I make that cut by 60 years. But we can't shoot it

Shooting it is another horse of a different blanket completely, and it has to be authorised an entered on my Firearms Certificate, just like anything modern would be.
Thankfully, the very late Robert Taylor Pritchett must have seen this coming, as he did not bother with serial numbers on his products. This means that I can actually shoot whichever unnumbered rifle of that calibre that I wish to, providing it's just one at a time.
And even I can only shoot one at a time...

SHOOTIN BLANKSI was going to say nothing until I stopped by my indoor range/LGS and fondled a Staccato. We'll see. But definitely shopping OTF knives which became legal here just over a year ago.
