As a forum, we can't forget him packing a SIG P210 in The Wild Geese (cheesy as it was).

I was actually surprised at how old he was when he died. Somehow, I thought he was younger, but time does march on, doesn't it??

I enjoyed watching him in The Wild Geese.

Richard Burton, Richard Harris, Roger Moore, FN-FAL's, simple plot, good guys win, bad guy gets killed in the end.

One of my favorites.

One of mine as well, and probably my favorite Roger Moore role. I never really liked him as Bond, but he did a lot of other good stuff. RIP.

I grew up on that bond era, the gadgets, boats, cars, planes that rolled out of a horse trailer, laser guns, the AMC Car stunt, all those were fun to watch...

Loved him in The Saint series. He used his own wardrobe. I picked up the DVD collection last year.

Another Moore favorite of my is ffolkes. Love his character and the ending, which remains one of my all time favorites.

It only stands to reason that where there's sacrifice, there's someone collecting the sacrificial offerings. Where there's service, there is someone being served. The man who speaks to you of sacrifice is speaking of slaves and masters, and intends to be the master.

RIP. The Wild Geese is a favorite of mine as well.

Was surprised to see Roger Moore as cousin Beau Maverick on the original TV show.

I enjoyed Sir Roger Moore's portrayal of James Bond throughout his run, despite the campiness, and in most of his other roles. As Mr.9mm just mentioned, I've also recently been enjoying seeing him on the weekend westerns as cousin Beau in Maverick.

RIP, Mr. Moore.

As many others have said; his were the Bond films of my high school, military and college days. His last Bond film, he was roughly my
age when it was filmed ("A View to A Kill", hated seeing Patrick Macnee get offed in that one...). RIP Sir Roger.
