I have a Late 2016 MacBook Pro 15. Recently I have been noticing an internal click and maybe a bit more heat while it is operating. Should I be concerned or is this a normal occurance? A check of the battery condition shows it to be normal. Any thoughts? Could be one of several things. A fan with built-up debris can cause over-heating and clicking noises, or maybe the fan motor is failing. If something else is causing the over-heating (like some large apps), I believe that model has some kind of electro-magnetic shielding connector inside that can rub or click against the casing. | |||
