LS1 GTOBusiness Strategy Game
Has anyone heard of the Business Strategy Game?
Part of my last class is participation in this. Essentially, you run ALL conceivable aspects of running an international footware company with 4 of your classmates. In this class' case, there are 25 students so there are five companies.
Has anyone else played this (or currently playing)?

DeqlynNot played this in the way you speak of I have outlined some of my own ideas. Basically you are looking at
Entry/preemption and strategic approaches
Assesing outcomes
Analyze incumbents
Unoccupied territory
Prisoners dilemma
Most of your analysis will be based on price or supply since there are 5 teams and i am assuming its todays current shoe market youre not looking at any competitive advantages.
What more would you like to know? A nice book on this is "competition demystified" by bruce greenwald who is a professor at Columbia.

DeqlynIf I were you on this project I would read this article and use social media strategies as it can provide cheap advertising options by utilizing influencer marketing. And the fact that it is working for "No Bull" and they are stealing market sharr is proof it could work.
http://footwearnews.com/2017/f...iners-photos-331851/I would avoid the Toms shoes strategy of donating a pair.
