All I know at this point is he was taken by ambulance from the sitter to the emergency room unresponsive. They have stabilized him and are moving him to the best pediatric facility in South Florida. We are on our way now.
What we know now. When the private sitter was putting grandson in car seat to go retrieve other children from school, he went limp and became unresponsive. Sitter called the mother and then called 911. Mother called the father who had just arrived home and he rushed to sitters, two streets away. The 911 operator put the sitter on hold and after a few minutes the father put grandson in his car and left for the ER.
Grandson woke up as they arrived at ER began crying and responding to stimulus. They stabilized him and preformed first CAT scan. Identifying blood in the cranium they prepped him and took him to St Mary's, one of the top pediatric facilities in Florida.
Today he is awake and responding well, behaving like his normal self. The consensus at this time is that these are lingering complications from having used a suction device to assist delivery when being delivered combine with constriction from the later prescribed helmet.
Thank you all for your prayers. This message has been edited. Last edited by: Tuckerrnr1,

Done. Keep us updated as you're able, but obviously you know where the priority is.
I'll be keeping your grandson, and all your family, in my prayers through the day.
