Ronin1069Murdered Baltimore homicide detective was due to testify against fellow officers indicted for drug-dealing
I saw this story last week ago and thought, "fucking Baltimore. Rest in Peace, officer."
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/new...nst-fellow-cops.htmlThen it got significantly more disturbing when I read the update this morning.
Baltimore Police Commissioner Kevin Davis has claimed that there is no link between Suiter's death and the drug-running indictment.
'The BPD and the FBI do not possess any information that this incident is part of any conspiracy,' Davis told the Baltimore Sun.
Really? That's the line you are going with? Awesome! Of course we believe you. <I want the head-into-brick-wall emoji back>
That was one brave detective, I cannot imagine the pressure he must have felt. Rest in Peace, sir.
Homicide, Life on the Streets has always been in my Top3 list of TV shows ever made. I've always wondered if real chiefs -of-police and commissioners were as slimy of politicians as they are portrayed on that show.

Sig209I read about this last night.
Something is very rotten about this. No way I am believing it was a 'coincidence'.
Baltimore sucks.

Interesting topic but I don’t know why it has to be tied to Freddie Gray from years ago. It deserves its own thread.

sdy http://abcnews.go.com/US/murde...ce/story?id=51341526the detective was set to testify in a police corruption case the next day.
Evidence found on the detective's clothing, in addition to body camera footage, indicates that there was a struggle between the officer and his killer, authorities said.
On the night of the incident there was a radio transmission by Suiter that lasted only a few seconds before he was killed indicating he was in distress, Davis said. Also, Suiters’ partner was confirmed to be nearby when the incident happened and can be seen on private surveillance video calling for help.
