Good. Somehow it seemed unseemingly to have a former governor shilling for a sleep aid product on late night TV. It would be nice if he took My Pillow guy with him. Here is the article:

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (AP) — President-elect Donald Trump will nominate former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee as ambassador to Israel, Trump announced Tuesday.

Huckabee is a staunch defender of Israel and his intended nomination comes as Trump has promised to align U.S. foreign policy more closely with Israel’s interests as it wages wars against Hamas in Gaza and Hezbollah in Lebanon.

“Mike has been a great public servant, Governor, and Leader in Faith for many years,” Trump said in a statement. “He loves Israel, and the people of Israel, and likewise, the people of Israel love him. Mike will work tirelessly to bring about Peace in the Middle East!”

Huckabee has led paid tour group visits to Israel for years, frequently advertising the trips on conservative-leaning news outlets.

David Friedman, who served as Trump’s ambassador to Israel in his first term, said he was “thrilled” by Trump’s selection of Huckabee.

Gus, not sure why you hate Mike. He has been a Trump guy from the start. Been targeted by the state. Done nothing wrong. Makes many of his products state side. Maybe because he is a devote Christian and does not apologize for it maybe? Sure he has made mistakes, who hasn't. And do not tell us its his commercials.

I do. I am watching The Five while cruising SF. Just as my eye went across "My Pillow Guy" in the OP, there he was. On the TV! Erie things happen.

Considering that we've gone from Donald Trump nearly having his brains scattered on live TV this past summer, to this, we're celebrating. Threads will either catch on and remain afloat or will sink on their own.

Congratulations....but makes me think someone of Jewish faith would have made an even better choice?

Huckabee has a long history with Israel and has been a huge supporter and advocate for the Israeli state for a long time. He's probably visited there at least 100 times. There really is no one better suited for this role.

I have always liked Governor Huckabee. Now I envy his assignment. Israel has friends again running the US government. I hope she can takes full advantage of this four years of good will.

Talk about a class act. The man put his heart into that speech. As many have stated already I cannot think of a better person then Gov. Huckabee. Though I am not from Arkansas I have strong ties to the state. I am very proud of where they have come since Clinton. My God Bless Governor Ambassador Huckabee, President Trump, Israel, and the United States of America.
