"…Tara, the pet terrier, and her owner Adrian Oliver are on a mission to rid a housing estate in Durham of its long-running rodent problem which has left parents fearing for their children's safety.
Cute Tara, who looks like a teddy, has snared over 600 rodents in the past year, and once managed to kill 42 in one day…"

Kind of what I was thinking. Have the terriers go after the residents that brought the rats. Sort of like teaching someone to fish VS giving them a fish.
We had a Blue Heeler that was also a vermin killing machine. Some of that dogs happiest times were spent in the hay shed whilst I restacked hay bales or cleaned out the shed in late spring.

My daughter's corgi is death on rats. She would had him clear out an infestation. He'd go in, kill the ra and bring it to her. His pay was nutter butters. There was the time he spotted a mole m my yard. One pounce, the dirt flew and a "crack." Then a had to go find treats to pay him.

I had seen this video somewhere else. It is amazing - worth watching a second time.
