Au Cheval at 800 west Randolph ,Chicago has received notoriety from many publications as the best burger in the United States. Going there to try this burger with some apprehension, will it meet the hype? I can say it is the best cheeseburger I have ever had! If your in Chicago make Au Cheval a must experience. The waits are ridiculous, however they will take your cell number and you will be notified 10 minutes before seating. Bon Apetit. | ||

Sorry didn't take any but their website has plenty. Rumor has it they incorporate duck fat in the burger. Four hour waits are not uncommon. It is in a high traffic restaurant district. | |||

I was in Chicago last month, and had lunch at Small Chival. It's their lunch time/fast food version if I understand it correctly. It's not AS good from what I hear, but still a damn tasty burger. | |||

I personally prefer the fried baloney sandwich there. The burger is good, even really good, but I can get a really good burger at alot of places in this city.
