Just wanted to acknowledge and thank Chris Orndorff for his help with my P232.

I could not secure a replacement slide catch spring for the pistol despite much time and effort.

Mr. Chris Orndorff was kind enough to send me a replacement and refused to allow me to compensate or even pay for shipping.

I'm very grateful.

Chris is a great person. He got my P228 up and running and has done other work on my pistols as well.

A lot of good people here who are giving of their expertise, time, gun parts, and even whole guns. And I think it's self-policing in that the kind of people who stick around tend to not be gimme, gimme, gimme people.

"It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." Viktor Frankl, Man's Search for Meaning, 1946.
