Well, I didn't begin wearing "Jeans" until the 1990s, but I was well enough informed to bypass Levi's and go with Wranglers. AFAIK, Wranglers has not made any anti-gun moves.

Levis haven't been made in the USA in about 10 years or more. I quit wearing them when they switched production to Mexico, then to some Caribbean shithole.
The Denim for several models was made here until 1/1/2018, when the White Oak Cone Mills factory - the last source of US made Denim and the supplier to Levi's for 100yrs or so - closed down by the international firm that owned it and other facilities worldwide.

Duluth Trading
Most of Duluth’s stuff is made in Communist China.

I've been a 501s-wearer for quite some time, and I agree with this statement.
I'll take a pic of my butt wearing 501s and carrying my P938, and send it directly to Bergh's office.
And perhaps I'll look at LL Bean for the next jeans purchase.

Excellent idea.

kkinaLevi Strauss & Co. is headquartered in San Francisco, CA. Need we be surprised?

blueyeDon't be surprised if their new ad campaign will read "The official clothing of Antifa".

Scooter123personally I haven't purchased a pair of Levi's since about 2004. My preference today is Carhartt, the price is right, they are durable, and the positioning of the belt loops is just perfect for my preferred carry position.
I've stopped counting.

I wear 13 MWZs, Wrangler’s “Official ProRodeo Competition Jean.” Of course they also make jeans that lean a bit toward designer style.
Some people also like Cinch jeans

I used to wear the 550s. There was definitely a difference in the denim used to make them depending upon which country they were manufactured in, and that was twenty years ago. Not a chance they've all been using the same denim up until this past January.

darthfusterLevi Strauss was acting up during the Reagan Admin too IIRC.
Tangentially, do you have any idea how hard it is to fasten button fly jeans with two jammed thumbs? It's impossible.

AITGI switched to Wranglers the first time Levi Strauss went anti 2A. I found that the back pockets of Wranglers are in a slightly different position than Levis. The Levis got uncomfortable in the car due to my wallet denting my butt. The same wallet in Wranglers is comfortable for hundreds of miles.

BassamaticAnother vote for Wranglers. They have a relaxed fit style that really is very comfortable.

ensigmaticI've been wearing Lee Jeans for as long as I can recall, though I did buy a Levi's jean jacket this spring.
Should be able to get a nice photo of me wearing my shoulder rig under that thing with the red "Levi" tag visible

KevinCWWho buys Levi's anymore? They havne't been "in fashion" in over 20 years.
I think I wore them last when i was about 10 years old.
They are honestly one of the brands I expected to go teh way of Sears, KMart, Famous Barr, and the other ones who refused to get with the times.

They've been a fixture in the urban fashion market (see hipsters, bicycle culture and fashion-types) and overseas consumers seeking 'classic American brands'. Their 'Go Forth' ad campaign 10-years ago really drove this home and should've been the siren song that this ain't the brand you thought it was.
