With the mini ex. My 7000lb double axle trailer is not going to cut it. Which I knew. So it will be on the block for sale soon.

I would love an 18' 14k lb tilt bed trailer but do not have an $8k budget for one.
Finding used equip. Trailers around me is going to be tough.
It is probably going to be a ramp trailer which will work as I won't using it all the time.

I would love to be in the $3-5k range.

I see some 10k lb trailers for $6500. the exc weighs 8k lb's then the trailer weight would put me over 10k lb so that is a no go. Maybe they are cheaper elsewhere but I doubt it.

Thoughts.

I don't know about cost, but are you considering a gooseneck type trailer? My dad and brother have two, one for hauling cattle and the other will haul just about anything you put on the truck can pull. The roofers who did my house came with a gooseneck dump trailer, probably about the size you are talking about and it absolutely turned on a dime. They are much more maneuverable than a hitch pulled trailer. Dad had a ball installed in his truck bed for a few hundred $$ and just flips it over when not in use. Maybe on the spendy side, but might want to consider if you will be using this commercially.

Realistically, how often are you going to tow it?

The machine is just for your home use, correct? How often do you see yourself moving it where it will need to be towed?

Thanks guys, I current have four locations that I will use the mini at. One is out of state and a considerable tow. But the least area I will need it. I also have my Kubota tractor and use it to mow another location. So a trailer is going to be needed.
Found a nice, new Iron bull 18' for under $6000. But would need to come west a few miles from W. South Dakota, anyone? Wink
