More seriously, I'm sure that the man is no longer employed there after such an incident. Reprisals are very possible and the franchise owner might consider retaining security personnel for the near future in case Bozo comes back with his crew to seek revenge.

Fascinating.
I've never been in a Waffle House. I've driven by them whilst out of state.
But w/ all the videos and stories over the years, the impression I get is they are like a cosmic alien bar.

If I were to walk into one and the Mos Eisley Cantina music was playing, I probably wouldn't be fazed. Big Grin

That's mainly a function of them being open late at night, and often being located in not the best neighborhoods.

So they're where many of the drunks, dopers, thugs, and weirdos end up during the night/morning, and bring all their associated problems along.

(You can often see the same in spots like the drive through line at the ghetto Taco Bell/McDonalds at 2 am, just after all the bars and clubs close. Or the Dennys in the rough part of town during the wee hours.)

During normal business hours, they're basically just a cheap diner. Think a slightly sleazier Dennys/Ihop.

My only critique is when he first put the dude to the ground he had a perfect opportunity to grab the back of his head by the hair and force several nose/face-floor kisses upon him.

I think that would have resulted in quicker compliance and less hand pain/swelling from the repeated punches he delivered to homies head.

We had a Waffle House in the hood that we would eat at during midnight shifts. We probably kept the place from being robbed dozens of times.

When I saw a group coming to his aid I knew I better leave. I tossed my $3 to him and said I hope it was worth it.
And retreated into the building.

I had to look up woolybooger, perfectly played and executed, good on you. Good lord.
