Their opportunity to contribute to the 403b for the 2020 tax year ended on 12/31/2020. You can't make retroactive contributions into part of the following year, like with an IRA.

FYI...a slight increase to my existing HSA did it for me, see original post. Daughter needs wisdom teeth out anyway.
