AglifterPainting chain link?
So, at work, we have some type of gauge of chain link that a fence contractor told us wasn’t available anymore.
As such, we painted the front fence.
DO NOT SPRAY a chain link fence... Get a roller, with a cup, like you’d use to paint a ceiling. Still a mess, but far less of one.
We used some product a commercial paint shop suggested for prepping rusty galvanized, and then the recommended paint.
It does work, for a few years.

Elk HunterA couple (5?) decades ago, we bought a house with chain link fencing. Looked like crap so I decided to paint it. Used a long "fur" roller and silver paint. Looked really nice and seemed to have set the standard for the neighborhood. Most everyone else with chain link, painted theirs, too.
Then I got transferred to upstate NY.
Went back by the house in Maryland a few years later and the rust was showing thru.
Given a choice, we would not have a chain link fence now. Even with a young dog. Those electronic fence things works really well in keeping him from terrorizing the neighborhood.

He has already finished painting the inside of the fence taupe and now he's painting the exterior a medium tan color . Total elapsed time : 24 hours ,over athree day period.
