Might want to mention thread revival.

ETA, let me know if you need a real estate agent down there. I know someone who's a real go getter agent in The Villages.

Ok, yeah we have a Villages agent down there. Is yours an MLS agent?[b]

The whole concept seems weird, even creepy to me.
But different strokes.

Seems creepy to me as well.

Retirement for me is/was about getting away from everyone else not moving in with them.

Did they give you a handy guide to all of their lifestyle offerings?

I assume she is as she is affiliated with RE/MAX.

Is that a bad thing to resurrect an old thread? If it is I was unaware.

The bumping of old threads. If you're a posting member of this forum, you should read this

Excerpt from parabellum’s thread linked above:

Para’s sound reasoning is in the rest of his post. Of course after rereading it, I was reminded we are just supposed to report a bumping of an old thread without “This is an older thread" rather than clutter the thread with non-thread related discussion. I also didn’t catch that specific wording was given.

No, not a bad thing, but you should mark it as a resurrection of an old thread, to avoid confusion. Put something more or less like this at the beginning of your post:

>>> OLD THREAD <<<

Congrats on your decision to come down to The Villages. Wife and I made the move 2-1/2 years ago and it was the best decision we've made. We built new in the southern end - let me know if you have any questions or if I can help with anything before you get back down here.

Good luck!

Thank you we will be down around Labor Day house hunting for a week. Looking at Courtyard Villa’s or Veranda’s.
