old rugged crosswho are less known and less expensive options for sending a X'mas gift.
I know we had the thread about gifts. But I know many like to send as a way to express their love for other.
Omaha steak and Harry and David are nice but are pretty much $100 a pop now which is a no go.
Any suggestions on lesser known outfits that offer gifts not so expensive and reasonable shipping.
Thanks guys and gals and Merry Christmas.

PrefontaineHandwritten letter, old fashioned style, on what that person actually means to you. Get real with it, hand write it, not type it. Will cost you a stamp and a piece of paper and will mean more than any consumer product you could buy.
What am I doing? I'm talking to an empty telephone

I used to think that way about pricing, but, as you know, everything has gone up at least 20%.
I can't see how sellers can keep their sale price low with their increased cost of materials.
Will be interesting to see what comes up in this thread that does not cost more than it did a couple years ago.
That being said, Vermont Country Store comes to mind as far as lower priced gifts,
https://www.vermontcountrystore.comBeen in business a long time, I've had great service from them. The products are smaller now, and the prices have gone up some.
Seems like you almost have to expect the higher prices now.
Merry Christmas to you also

architectMy sister, no sugar/no carbs/no fruit/no animal products of any kind, is a difficult giftee. Solution? Mt. Hope Wholesale! Plus, you get to support our very own Beancooker.
Heart of the Desert is also another great online seller of non-run-of-the-mill food products. For more conventional gifts, OH Danish Bakery is hard to beat.

UTsigHubs Peanuts, I saw them on here and order around this time. They're not inexpensive but are very good.

honestlouI've bought some stuff from Supermarket Italy:
https://supermarketitaly.com/?...1RipNChoCYVoQAvD_BwEFree shipping for orders over $85, and flat rate of $8.99 if under that.
That's where I typically buy my Luxardo Maraschino cherries. ($18 for a 14 oz jar, BTW) They sell meats, cheese, pasta-all sorts of good stuff.

BRLI've been perusing Etsy more and more lately. If your gift recipient has an interest in something specific you can search that and find things you'd never have thought of. Often hand made or at the very least unique items. You're helping a small business too.
I just ordered a bunch of Gluten Free Perogies for my Mom for Christmas. Shipped with dry ice. My wife orders custom made Funco Pop characters, crystals & stones etc. Things you can't get in a store or on Amazon.
Tip - if you see something you like, put it in your cart for a couple of days and you'll often have a discount coupon sent to you for that item. I think you'll need to create an account first which is painless.
I am not BIPOLAR. I don't even like bears.

selogicWe only buy gifts for our grandchildren . NO adults receive gifts from us . We established that practice a long time ago. Besides saving money , it really reduced the stress of shopping for that picky person on your list .
