BB61Bluetooth speaker recommendations please
The Oontz as mentioned. They were recommended to us on SIGforum and we now have three. The Ultra pro are the best bang for the buck.

BurtonRWI have a like-new Sony SRS-XB23 that I have no use for. Bought it in August. Used it once. Great sound, I just don’t need it.
Don’t know if you’re Christmas shopping or what, but if you don’t need packaging, etc., it’s yours. Just shoot me an email with a mailing address.

Timdogg6Have a jbl and a ue, I would go jbl. Ultimate ears is a pain to pair and can magically drop and not reacquire. For double the money of the jbl, just get the jbl and have no hassles

Oat_Action_ManI got a Bose Soundlink Color (at least that seems to be the equivalent model now) free with a phone purchase several years ago.
I use it for exactly what your wife is looking for. Great sound and really fills up our open concept space with very high ceilings, especially for such a small package.
Although I doubt you'll get the excellent price of free, they don't seem overly expensive these days for what I assumed Bose usually sells for.
