Carbon capture pipelines? WTH?
The woke green nutjobs helped kill the Keystone XL pipeline but want to run carbon capture pipelines.

What is this all about you ask. The short version is that they want to capture CO2 emissions from power plants and industrial facilities and send it for placement in storage facilities.

The lunacy continues to escalate.

Lunacy...Yes! They were never ever told NO, and their self esteem was continuously buoyed from childhood through their esteemed university 'education'/indoctrination as if NOTHING else was MORE important than them! As a result, they all think they're brilliant, and that nothing they dream up shall be challenged or even questioned, as the would be 'violence', regardless of the lunacy of any of their ideas! Roll Eyes

We're doomed until all of these imbeciles empowered to make decisions are removed from relevance and ANY decision making responsibility whatsoever! Mad

If you’re going to store co2, why not do it onsite? Why pipe it anywhere. Or you could just feed it to the local trees and grass.

Here is a pretty good video on the subject from Ice Age Farmer in Nov. 2021.
This is a land grab and another example of the war on american farmers.

The Republicans judging from history when they get a shot to own the entire government they usually get a two year window. What would it take to finish the Keystone XL pipeline in that amount of time?

Because the refineries, chem plants, and refineries have itty bitty spheres to store compressed gases.

The carbon capture that nearly everyone in oil & gas is gravitating toward is removing the CO2 at chem plants, refineries, and power plants then dry it, compress it, put it into a pipeline, and ship it off to a depleted oil reservoir.

I get letters all the time from the company trying to build this due to the fact they want to put it under/in some farm land I own. I think it is a pipedream. Yes, pun intended.

Other than converting waste paper to charcoal, I’m a bit lost on how they are supposed to safely sequester large amounts of carbon….

Would they use the CO2 to increase the pressure in an oil field/displace natural gas toward the surface?

Why not put it in itty-bitty little canisters and sell it to power pellet guns and SodaStream devices and things like that?

That’s been happening since the late 80s / early 90s.

What I posted about earlier is long-term storage. This article from American Petroleum Institute is a good summary of where some people are trying to take the industry.

If I had my underoos in a wad about the .04% of our air that is CO2, I'd spend my whole allowance and buy some trees. Zip-Zop,next crisis please.
