Anyone else ditch Dorco when they stopped selling on their own website? I'm seeing and hearing that selection went way down and prices went way up when they went to Amazon. Confused

I decided to try Harry's instead and so far I'm still trying to get used to the different angle of the blades to my face compared to the Dorco Pace 6, does anyone else notice this? It's almost like the grip angle of a Glock vs a SIG here!

I do like the fact that the Harry's blades seem sharper and stay sharper longer than the Dorco blades did. I had tried Harry's some years back and the angle thing scared me off and I went with Dorco but this time around I'm going to give it time. The single blade opposite the main ones is a nice feature for keeping my beard edge neat too.

I tried razors from both Harrys and Dollar Shave Club a few years ago, and was greatly disappointed by both.

However, Harry's shave cream is good stuff.

I'm not ready to switch from Dorco yet but would be open to alternatives.

I'm confused by Dorco. Koreans seem very image conscious. I find Dorco better than Gillette - better feel, better razors. But even in Korea where Dorco is made, I was hard pressed to find Dorco razors whereas Gillette was easy to find. I would have thought the opposite - not only is Dorco a better product but probably cheaper and a much better value in Korea. I don't what Dorco's distribution strategy is. But I am tiring of searching for their product.

Probably for the same reason that Buick is a luxury car brand to the Chinese. Dorco may be looked at as an inferior homegrown product and Gillette is the hot, luxurious American brand.

I used DSC for years. Just tried Dorco razors from Amazon for the first time. Will stick with Dorco for now. They seem to work a lot better for me....Closer shave, no cuts. Have yet to try Harry's. Done with Dollar Shave Club.

Are they the same as Dorco Pace or just made by Dorco (cheaper quality?)? Are they the equivalent of Pace 3? 4? 4 Plus?

Curious minds want to know. Smile

I tried to use the Harry's razors but I just couldn't stand the weird angle of the blade. I kept wondering if anyone had actually tried to shave with these things before they sold them. I did like their shaving cream but it's expensive.

Haven't tried Harry's but i am now using Dorco. Not real crazy about that angle of the Dorco blade. It cants at way to much of an angle for me. I don't mind a mild swivel but theirs is not working for me. I guess I just like more control is all. Does the Harry's blade swivel as much as the Dorco?

Or they could be like me and Gillette is hands down better than both for me. I even hate to buy them because I hate supporting a liberal dousche but their razors are excellent. I’ve spent $100’s of dollars trying every brand mentioned and then some to try and get rid of Gellette only to be sorely disappointed every time. I’ve even thrown razors away that others rave about because they are so terrible.

On a "free offer" I got the razors and didn't like them. At some point tried them again, and they are all I now use for the 2-3 times a week I might shave half my face.

Their shave lotion, concocted nearby, earned an article on AmericanToolbox three years ago ...

Natural oils pop with mildly astringent nose, along with conditioners which assist in Zamboni-smooth blade action across my weathered face.

I’ve been using Harry’s for the last year and have not noticed any issues with blade angle. I get 8 blades every two months and always have extras. I’ve never used or heard of Dorco.

After switching to DE safety razor shaving 6 years ago I can't stand multi blade razors, I'll never go back.

Switched from DSC Executive to Dorco Pace 6 Pro. Different product and I am happy with the change.

My son thinks that I have been using (Harry’s) them for 4 - 5 years. Best razor for me ever.
