I had either a bad water pump seal on the KTM 890, because if it’s not that then it’s a head gasket. I filled it up with cheap MC oil and ran it to operating temperature(fans cycling off and on several times), drained it refilled it with the stupid expensive oil. There was still some contamination at the very end of draining, sitting for 20 min. I am going to run it a couple of hundred miles and drain/refill. Is that sufficient? Not certain I got the pump seal in right or that it’s not the HG so if it loses coolant it’s off to KTM. I have a 2016 F250 with 6.7 power stroke. I have some service questions? Coolant additive msg and my wiper fluid is squirting… I want a good forum that is helpful, recommendations would be helpful. Take it to the dealer and have them test the coolant. They use a test strip similar to a pool test strip for testing pool water. Mine does it for free. Under the hood, check the lines going to the windshield washer squirters. I don’t remember if it was the hose or the fitting, but something cracked on mine. Either way it was a cheap fix.

I’m hoping it’s an easy fix. I am going to try pulling the feed lines off and blow them out with compressed air. " The people shall have a right to bear arms, for the defense of themselves and the State" Art 1 Sec 32 Indiana State Constitution YAT-YAS

I had good luck with the F150 Forum, when I had mine. They do have a Super Duty subforum, but it doesn't look very active https://www.f150forum.com/f17/ The Enemy's gate is down.

Have a dealer check the coolant and add additive if needed, the wiper washer is probably a failing multi-function switch which is a fairly easy and inexpensive fix.

It's been quite a few years since I've been here, but https://www.thedieselstop.com/ was where I would frequent when I had my 7.3

On the motorcycle you should to a coolant leakdown test (the equipment for that is dirt cheap) and cylinder leakdown test (slightly more tools but still cheap). I would NOT ride it to test as coolant in the oil is a very bad lubricant and trouble will follow you. On the 6.7 no idea I'm still stuck with earlier models. “So in war, the way is to avoid what is strong, and strike at what is weak.”

I just changed the radiator side of my 2016 power stroke. I got the fluid from the dealership so as to have all the proper additives. I have not yet changed the EGR side. It wasn't too messy. I need to drive it again and then recheck the level. They make special tools to help refill it completely but I didn't see the point.
