My 22/45 with a Specre 22 will not cycle CCI Quiet 22. Same set up with Glock 44, wont cycle.

Regarding the brass and live rounds left behind. Outside of fingerprints and DNA, what use would they be? Tool marks to match the firearm IF it were ever recovered? Don’t think it’s the kinda place and situation you’d wanna stick around and wave at the passersby as you pick up your brass.

Ah, okay: One to the body, one to the leg after evidently firing multiple shots? Sort of a reverse Mozambique?

I guess it’s definitely looking less and less like a “professional” hit.
And with the investigative aids available these days that could be obtained from ammo and fired cases, maybe the pros should go back to the old days: a good, reliable revolver. Yes, no effective suppression (on most), but it seems that the suppressor didn’t keep this guy from being noticed.

I remember a Tom Clancy book where a wet team used steel cased ammo for a hit so they could wave a magnetic wand over the ground to pick up the spent casings quickly.

Seems like these "assassins" are never real gun people. They always have some retardedly set-up fucked-up shit none of us would be caught dead with. SKS with a shit-rigged assed-up scope, AR with irons used at 100yds, this not-a-glock thing. C'MON.

The media will paint him as a meticulous and terrifying right wing "enthusiast", and every idiot will agree, and parrot the nonsense.

Don't be afraid to tell people this guy was a loser who had no idea what the fuck he was doing, and his getaway only reflects the complete lack of law enforcement in NYC.

My number one stock holding. First thing I did was check the price when I saw this....

If your Ruger is anything like my Victory .22 the 710fps CCI won’t cycle with or without my Sig can on it.

Looking at this photo from the crime scene, it almost looks like FMJ … it can’t be though, right?

Much like how if you were to just take a Glock or Sig, stick a threaded barrel in it, and then thread a big heavy suppressor on the end with no booster, the gun won't cycle properly.[/QUOTE]

One of the first things I thought of this morning as I was watching the early commentary was exactly what Bigwagon mentioned.

There are a number of Anti- "company or government entity of your choice" organizations that are on the law enforcement radar at local, state and national levels. The vast majority are just nuisances and fantasize in their basements about shutting down companies or local utilities but don't do anything about it.

Others are fairly well organized and make loud noises to draw a lot of attention (demonstrations and such), but don't have the stones to actually do something besides protest, march, chant slogans and spill paint on streets to get on TV.

Then there are the "disruptor" groups. These are organized, politically active, get funding from somewhere, and actually make plans to disrupt or take down people or companies. Some have people who are technically savvy and are also smart enough to keep their mouths shut. These can be very dangerous.

While this may indeed be a lone wolf with an axe to grind---and that's possible---I'm with Para and Bigwagon that this could be such an Antifa-style hit.

Somebody working alone can find the date, time and place of a shareholders meeting.

But it would take much more time, effort and planning to a) find out when the CEO is arriving in town; b) find out where the CEO is staying; c) when and how the CEO is going from his hotel to the meeting; and d) be able to pull off a hit if the CEO has armed security.

This guy was either savvy enough to sucker a lot of people (like hotel staff) into spilling information on when/where/how, or had a few people helping him. One person couldn't get this lucky on his own.

The killer made sure he was double dead.
