On an AR lower that has a form1 SBR’d, is it required to be engraved?
I’ve heard both yrs & no.

If yes is it just my name , city & state?

You can engrave the frame, receiver, or barrel:

With the name of the entity the Form 1 is approved to (you vs trust), along with the city and state.

I chose to engrave the lowers of my Form 1 AR’s so I could switch uppers around. With the lower engraved and as long as I possess the upper with barrel length the Form 1 was approved for I can swap uppers, calibers, and barrels around.

Thank you.
I have an appointment at CNS Engraving in Powell, Ohio this Friday morning.
They engrave while you wait.
