A day late, and a dollar short
| Glad all went well. Laparoscopic surgery is a modern miracle, compared to the major incisions that used to be required for appendectomies, and gall bladder surgery in the past.

| Welcome to the club of no appendix people. Mine burst back on 5 December that was my first hospital stay and I’m 52. I was in there for two days and glad to be out and it took a month to recuperate. Hope you get to feeling better it takes a while. |

| The nicest feeling was waking up this morning and not having pain in my chest and shoulder from the air they used to blow up my abdomen during the surgery. That felt like a huge step forward. While it sucked being away from my wife and daughter on Easter, I did feel like today was a good progress day. No denying how wonderful modern medicine is. We are definitely blessed with how much less invasive to our bodies that surgeries have become.

| Though hospitals may be one of my least favorite places to be, I wouldn't be here today if not for them. God Bless them, some of the very best at what they do. Glad all went well Lt CHEG and a smooth recovery!

| Thank you very much to all of you who have commented and wished me well. I’m definitely feeling better and better by the day. Mostly I just feel like if I overdo it I might rip something but I can’t say that I have much in terms of pain thankfully. And the best part is that I arrived home this evening and will get to spend the night in my own bed, and will get to see my daughter in the flesh when I wake up in the morning. One of them has gotten a fair amount of use and the other still hasn’t seen the water. I am using one as my backup with my 620 paired with a Mk19 Evo as my primary reg. When I get my doubles setup going this year as I complete my tech cert I am planning on using both G250Vs with twin Mk19 Evos. I like the G250V quite a bit though and took a few puffs on it at the bottom of the U853 last summer, right at 129 feet, just to see if it breathes as well as it’s supposed to, and it did.
