She broke the windows according to DPD. However the DA is declining to prosecute due to the fact he assaulted her.

There was a traffic dispute and the dude assaulted her, big time. Here's a quote from the linked news article:

It certainly was not right for her to smash the dude's truck windows, but I can understand (not condone) what she did.

Do you know what the dollar limit is for retribution? Like would it be still OK for her to have doused his car in gas and lit it on fire? Or maybe cut off one or two of his fingers? Are there some felonies that are OK for retribution and some that are not? Or is it some kind of time limit? Maybe one week after attack max to seek revenge, if you can't achieve revenge in 7 days time you forfeit you right to revenge?

How does race play into it? Is it only OK for black people to seek revenge against white people or does it go both ways? What if one person in the altercation is Phillipino and the other is 1/2 black, 1/2 white. How are situations like that handled?
