Love our InstantPot. The air fryer is also awesome.

Revolution37Love my Instant Pot. We also have an air fryer and it’s probably even cooler. Will never own a deep fat fryer again.

P250UA5Ours predominantly is used as a rice cooker, but we've done a few roasts (in a fraction of the time of a crock pot) with great success. We've also done meatloaf and potatoes (at the same time) and it turned out great.
The instant pot rarely gets put away. It get used often enough that it practically lives on the kitchen island.
Our air fryer, on the other hand, has only been used a couple times.

scratchythe IP air fryer does a great job on Lamb Weston Southwestern Spudz (tater tots with a little cheese and jalapeno). Going to try a shredded beef recipe soon. I do like how fast it does rice.....

apprenticeMine is mostly a rice or egg cooker, but it has made marvelous white chili several times as well. Which requires two or three chicken breasts that get cooked straight from the freezer come to think of it. Darn handy that way.
Still need to experiment more with steaming veggies because my first attempts came out way overcooked.
Haven't bought any pot-in-pot kits for it yet, as that would lead me down the tasty cakes path and I'm not sure that would be a good idea.
Our crock pot still gets used regularly. But even if all else was equal, it's much nicer to clean up the insta pot with the dishwasher.

GT-40DOCI love my IP for chicken/turkey gizzards!! It does a great job, and they come out tender. Also use it for frozen chicken thighs(deboned and skinned). Add that, once cooked, to wide egg noodles. Have done beef short ribs in it once, but was not wild about the results. I can do them better next time. I think that I want to purchase the air-fryer top for my IP, but just haven't done it yet. I do not fry anything anymore, but do like the flavor.

casSounds like some folks were expecting a Star Trek replicator and not a cooking device.
I took my 3 quart one to work today for making steel cut oatmeal. I still have two 6qt units in my kitchen. Use them pretty much with every meal.
