My wife is also battling colon cancer. I know in my heart that the many, many prayers that have been said on her behalf are the reason that she is doing as well as she is. Prayers sent for you and your wife. I too have cried like a baby so I am there with you.

When my dad was 65, he had a colon resection due to cancer.

I began getting colonoscopies at age 46 and have them every 5 years. I am 61 and had my most recent one a few weeks ago. Yes, the prep is a nuisance, but it is well worth it. 6 years ago, I had a pre-cancerous tumor removed. Where would I be if it had not been detected? In the same place my dad was.
