OK I'll say it, I don't think the fix for this problem will be pretty. I don't see how it could be.

Therefore, as tongues of fire lick up straw and as dry grass sinks down in the flames, so their roots will decay and their flowers blow away like dust; for they have rejected the law of the Lord Almighty and spurned the word of the Holy One of Israel." - Isaiah 5:20,24

Well since Satan has take over my soul, I'm thinking everyone of these "immigrants" needs to be detained until we can vet them. I know a big job but maybe spend a bit of the Ukraine money on this one? Perish that thought Bytes!!!

Yep. Totally screwed a lot of peoples’ Saturday afternoon. Mine included.

Knowing what one is talking about is widely admired but not strictly required here.

The odd thing about this is it's at least the second or third go-around like this for the Netherlands.

Decades back, as kind of a way to make up for past colonization and slavery sins, I guess, when they cut Suriname (formerly Dutch Guiana) loose in 1975 they offered any Surinamese that wanted it the opportunity to move to the Netherlands.

The results were nothing short of an utter disaster.

Eventually, IIRC, they mostly kind of solved the problem by giving Surinamese residing in Netherlands a big chunk cash to go back to Suriname with the provision they'd not seek to return to the Netherlands. (A promise which, I'm told, many of them failed to keep. [Surprise!])

They created a similar problem for themselves shortly following WWII. They had a manpower shortage, so they started mass-importing labor from Morocco.

Now they turn around a few decades later and repeat the mistakes, only worse

A major part of how Germany rebuilt itself (idlcd most of N.Europe) post-WWII was their guest-worker program which started in the 60's, allowing workers form Turkey to stay for 2-years and send remittances back home. The workers eventually stuck around as growth continued and labor was in short supply. Citizenship was offered, some took it up but, many others did not owing to poor command of German language and non-adaption of German culture/customs/mores.

We should be rounding them up shipping them to Ukraine. Let's see them walk back from there.
