Our Sons of The American Legion, Squad 189, Sebastian, Florida, of which I am a member, started the program: Operation Remember our Heroes, back in 2014. Twice a year, Memorial Day and Veterans Day, we place fresh American flags and military markers on over one thousand veterans graves in three area cemeteries. Various community members and Legion members join in. This endeavor is supported through donations. What do you do in your community for this special day! God bless our veterans! Don't. drink & drive, don't even putt.

Thank you, I wish i lived in a community such as yours. I live in Ann Arbor, where folks are so woke and politically correct that they consider all servicemen and servicewomen, and veterans, "dangerous, white supremacists". The Boy Scout packs from some of the non-PC Churches, do go and place flags in the major cemetaries where a lot of veterans are buried. If you think you can, YOU WILL!!!!!

We have a small town parade (high school marching bad, little league teams, scouts etc) that ends at the cemetery with a special memorial ceremony there in a section dedicated to military. _____________________ Be careful what you tolerate. You are teaching people how to treat you.
