Say what? Hwy-49 there's no issues with coverage, there's spots here and there and as you get up to some of the passes you'll be without coverage however, you're not going to be completely cut-off; the same goes for hwy-395 on the eastside.

I have a place in Pine Grove. I've had both Verizon and T-Mobile. Both have not worked in Pine Grove, Pioneer and Buckhorn. ATT works in all of the above. Jackson has iffy service for T-Mobile, though Verizon and ATT are both okay there. HWY 88 is pretty much a dead area from buckhorn through to 395. Hwy 95 in central Nevada has good service if you have Verizon, but ATT is spotty and T-Mobile is pretty much dead from Beatty to Hawthorn, about 200 miles. As I said to the OP, be sure to check the coverage maps as he needs good cell coverage for his business. "Evil can never be dead enough" Brevard County, Fla., sheriff Wayne Ivey

Thanks for the input everyone. It was a bit of information overload just searching the route via google so having a few specifics is really helping things come together. Regarding cell service. I have Verizon with an unlimited plan and I'm planning to get a pay as you go AT&T plan to stick in my old iphone and maybe a Google Fi plan to cover all the bases. Also already have the weBoost kit that mounts to the vehicle.

On different trips, we've been to both the South Rim and North Rim of the Grand Canyon. They are very different. Consider camping at both. I did a quick google search and found this Link Speak softly and carry a
