I didn't realize we weren't civilized, but when I was a kid, we'd tear the bread into pieces and put the whole egg on top in a bowl.

I’ve often seen instances of Indian folks that observed British traditions even more closely than folks born and raised in the UK. Always brings a smile to my face.

I made eggs and soldiers again yesterday. Tasty!

I like beans on toast, but I prefer S&W Chili beans rather than the traditional Heinz beans, which are too sweet for me. Taste preferences are entirely personal.

^^^^ It's best to butter the toast. Good butter, not cheap crap butter.

And sprinkle just a little wee bit of cheese on top then put under the broiler for just a moment.

Heinz beans, from England, are in a mild tomato sauce, entirely different from what we are used to in America.

I just ordered a case of those Heinz beans from Amazon. We ain't got no fancy British grocery store way out here in flyover country.
