Faxon Firearms and Anderson.

I've not heard of either one. Where are they? And what do they make?

Both manufacturers make ARs, among other things. Anderson is a low-cost AR manufacturer (is kinda their whole thing, been around a hot minute) in Henderson, KY, and Faxon is in Cincinatti, OH and makes ARs (as well as parts and accessories - a bit flashy for my tastes, but apparently they shoot) and 10/22-pattern rifles and associated parts/accessories (again, a bit gaudy looking for my liking, and this is coming from the guy who actually debated on powder coating his PRS rifle's barrel metallic red as a joke). Apparently Faxon has a rimfire pistol I've neither seen nor known about until I looked them up recently.

Faxon makes the ARAK rifles along with ARs. They machine all manner of AR barrels. They make Springfield Armory M1A barrels. A line of Glock pistol barrels. Tactical shotgun barrels. Ported hybrid comp barrels for 1911s. A huge manufacturer of US M4 barrels, Lone Wolf Glock slides. Oh and, those GMLRS missles being used in Ukraine for HIMARs. M270 and M242 both. Bombs of 500 pound to 2,000 pound bunker busters. Really cool stuff. They machine some gigantic parts, non weapons related. Quite a company.

Henry Firearms of all Places, Bayonne, NJ. There are many defunct artillery and cannonball producers, during the revolutionary years, all throughout the Pine Barrens.

S&W had a facility in Columbia, MO - but I believe they have closed or moved it.

CMMG is within the 50 mile zone, and both Midway USA and Graf's Reloading Superstore (Graf & Sons) are within the radius as well.

I checked "yes", assuming New Ultralight Arms produces over 500 per year.

Spike's is about five minutes from my house.

I needed a small part for an AR from a different manufacturer, so I stopped in to see if Spike's would sell it to me.

They refused to sell the part; they just gave it to me. Nice dudes there!

I think so. I forgot about those two manufacturers. My brother in law used to work at Barnes Bullets. That manufacturer has excellent QC.

Ruger has a plant in Mayodan NC. About 40 miles or so. Never have figured out where exactly the plant is. Rem LE and TAC used to be in Mayodan as well, until they became defunct.
