Taking a knife to a gun fight...not going to win.

What is most troubling to me is these are young teens. The only way you have this level of hate for Israelis is that you're taught and indoctrinated at a young age. Some adult convinced these two kids to knife armed police officers, knowing they wouldn't fair well against the officers.
Conversely, young Israelis are being taught to be respectful, but vigilant.

Kudos to the officers.

That's been the MO of the Palestinian Authorities for the last 70-years. Instead of focusing on bettering their situation, they've (regardless of what group has been in charge) insisted that that the character of the Palestinians is resistance, revolution and confrontation.
