Ignoring things like this is what has gotten us into the mess we see today.

JMO, but calling for the extermination of all white male conservatives isn't an opinion.

Cuz posting about it on the internet is going to change anything?
Of course like minded folks are going to agree that this dude is wrong and his opinion vulgar. So are several million other people's every day. Your opinions agreeing or to the contrary do absolutely nothing to enact any change but everyone acts like we must be aware and vigilant otherwise "they" will win.

Yes, other people will have opinions.
Yes, most of them are worth every penny you paid to hear them.

He crossed a line in calling for "extermination" of the "cockroaches." This isn't just an opinion, it's a call for action. There is an increasing trend towards this rhetoric. If you don't care now, when?

Now you're simply being obtuse. Posting it did change some things- namely, by informing people. I didn't know about this before this thread. Others here can say the same. I want to know of things like this, and others here will say the same. What's it to you?

And yet, here you are, banging away at this thread regarding a subject you care so little about, you twice posted in it with an annoyed tone. If it matters so little, why does it appear to matter to you so much? You may be fooling yourself, but you're not fooling anyone else and I don't see the first bit of fishing tackle in your posts.

Now might be a really good time to go do just that, rather than continuing to dig that hole.

See, stuff like this doesn't do anything to my blood pressure. I'm on beta blockers and rhythm regulators for that. If we're going to keep with the cardiac theme, I want to keep a finger on the pulse of the culture we live in. Is the social temperature rising? If I were a frog in a pot, I could be thinking about other things instead of watching the bubbles form at the bottom, beginning to rise.

I'm willing to accept the things I cannot change, but that doesn't mean I should ignore them.

I read that tweet and I would interpret as a call for the alphabet generations to commit Mass Murder. IMO a call and complaint to the ATF is in order here. Because there are some things that just should not be said and this is one of those things.

I've stopped counting.

I'm not even sure who Gen Y,X or Z represents but I'm going to guess they can't decide what gender they are or aren't that day if any at all. They can't organize both hands to find their ass at the same time much less organize an assault against millions of gun owners. Little Stevie's mouth is writing checks he can't cash. He's like most people who call for violence he has never had it visited upon him and does not have even the vaguest of clues as to what it really is.

The entire E Street Band needs to look closely in the mirror. If all those young generations do somehow decide to mobilize it is quite possible that they might also be mistaken for old white guys because that is what they are. They do dress funny though so that might save them for a while. "And the shotgun sings its' song!" Collateral damage comes to mind.

That is quite a salient point, actually.
I'd like to see the reaction once someone points this out to him/them. My guess is it would confuse him.

Gen <anything after, say, boomers> and eliminating their opposition:
1. I think they are emboldened because they mistake the presence of a vocal minority vs the silent majority
2. I think they are underestimating our resolve with our silence.
3. I think they are overestimating their competencies. Where's the meme about them starting a revolution and the retort being something along the lines of they can't hold a normal job, they can't decide if they are a boy or a girl, they can't eat meat without crying, they get offended and break down from simple words.

They are the chihuahua to our rottweiler. They sure do yip a lot and are annoying. But they have no idea what will come if they actually bite.

So......you going to drive to his house and straighten him out? Going to hold a big press conferenced are ya? Set things right? Make him see the error of his ways?

Look, I agree with the sentiment but I find it so silly that most of you let this work you up into such a tizzy.
Anyone with two working brain cells knows what's what with these clowns and every little event doesn't deserve such attention or to cause us to break our stride in the least.
Stupid people say stupid shit. A lot.
Did an army amass at his request for killing? no and they won't .
Stop taking these idiots opinions so seriously because it lends them more validity than they're worth and it makes you all appear to be easily lead by the nose at the slightest provocation.

And yeah, I posted a few times now in this thread because I do enjoy discussion and the sharing of thoughts and such. If I can help someone reading this to also detach from the silly 24 hour news cycle and viral spreading of anything "controversial" then I'll feel I've done a good deed for the day to boot.

What is your problem? "most of you"? What are you talking about? This thread is a page and a half long. How do you fit "most of you" into a page and a half? Furthermore, go back- no, really- go back to the first page, scroll the posts, READ THEM, and tell me what you see. And out of this, you get "most of you"? If anyone in this thread is suffering from a loss of perspective, it's you. You need to come down off of your high horse and stop lecturing the members of this forum and taking them to task over something that you think is of no importance. While you've been busy being sanctimonious, you've ignored the actual content of this thread.

STOP lecturing the members of this forum. Stop it. I am not asking you. Savvy?

Sharing of thoughts? Who do you think you're fooling? Sharing of thoughts?? What a load of horse shit. You "enjoy discussion" so much, you've made an effort to shut down this discussion.

Oh, my God! What a steaming pile. You are full of it.

Furthermore, I have addressed you three times now in this thread, and you have failed to acknowledge that the administrator of this forum is speaking to you, and you are going to cut this shit out. One way or another, partner, you are going to cut it out. Behave yourself. Follow my directives, and do not act as if I am not talking to you.

You do not moderate the content of this forum. You do not tell members how they should behave, or which things they should value or concentrate on or discuss.

Now...

Do you have anything else you want to say?
